In KS1, children have researched, designed, made and evaluated their very own wheeled toys. These toys have been inspired by wheeled toys from the Victorian times. Children learnt about different mechanisms: the purpose of wheels, axles and chassis. They learnt how to make their design stiffer, stronger and more stable.
